General Construction Labourer

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and reliable General Construction Labourers to join our construction team. As a General Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by performing various tasks to ensure smooth operations and timely completion. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Working Hours: 40 Hours a week

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring they are safe and organized.
2. Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as required.
3. Perform demolition work, including the removal of debris and hazardous materials.
4. Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with their tasks.
5. Operate construction equipment and machinery under supervision, following safety guidelines.
6. Perform general maintenance and repair work on construction tools and equipment.
7. Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
9. Assist in the installation of structures, including framing, drywall, flooring, and roofing.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
2. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
3. Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
4. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
6. Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various job sites.
8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
9. Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to adhere to all safety regulations.
