Table of Contents


  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen assistants.
  2. Train and mentor new hires, ensuring they are familiar with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  3. Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and safety standards adherence.
  4. Oversee the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet our aesthetic standards.
  5. Maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  7. Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
  8. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining, kitchen, and storage areas.
  9. Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  10. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and developments, recommending menu improvements and service enhancements.
  12. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and record-keeping.


  1. Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is required.
  2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and health and safety regulations.
  3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  4. Exceptional customer service skills, focusing on creating positive experiences for guests.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
