Floor Cleaner
Job Description: As a Floor Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that floors are spotless, free from dirt, stains, and debris, creating a pleasant and safe environment for our clients and their customers. You will work closely with the cleaning team and follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
- Clean and maintain various types of floor surfaces, such as tile, hardwood, carpet, and vinyl, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Remove stains, spills, and gum from floors promptly and efficiently.
- Dust and polish baseboards, furniture, and other fixtures in the assigned areas.
- Empty and clean trash containers, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Cooperate with the team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet cleaning targets.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations, including confidentiality and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in floor cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with different types of flooring materials and corresponding cleaning methods.
- Knowledge of using and maintaining floor cleaning equipment, such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Understanding and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
