Job Description: As a Fruit and Vegetable Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our products. Salary: $16.00 Hourly
Job type: Full Time
Working Hours: 40 Hours a week

Table of Contents


  • Clean, wash, and sanitize fruits and vegetables using approved cleaning agents and procedures.
  • Remove dirt, debris, and other contaminants from produce through manual cleaning methods.
  • Inspect fruits and vegetables for any signs of spoilage, damage, or pests, and take appropriate action.
  • Sort and separate produce according to size, variety, or other criteria, as instructed.
  • Follow proper handling and storage procedures to maintain the freshness and quality of fruits and vegetables.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines, including personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Report any quality or safety issues to the supervisor or manager promptly.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Participate in training programs related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety.


  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in food handling or cleaning roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures for fruits and vegetables.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and address quality or safety concerns.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
