Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve any issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating machinery.
- Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in factory maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
Working Conditions
- The Factory Maintenance Worker will primarily work within the manufacturing facility.
- May involve exposure to loud noises, extreme temperatures, and hazardous materials.
- May require working in tight or confined spaces.
- Some lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods may be required.
