Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated welder-fitter helper to join our construction team in Canada. As a welder-fitter helper, you will work closely with experienced welders and fitters to assist in various construction and fabrication projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Working Hours: 40 Hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Assist welders and fitters in fabricating and assembling metal structures, components, and equipment.
- Prepare materials and work areas by cleaning, grinding, and cutting metal pieces as needed.
- Provide support in the setup and operation of welding and cutting equipment.
- Help in the layout and measurement of materials according to project specifications.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a construction or welding environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of welding and fitting techniques.
- Familiarity with various welding tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and perform manual tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A commitment to safety and following established procedures.
- Valid work authorization in Canada.
