Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable General Farm Worker to join our team. As a General Farm Worker, you will perform various tasks involved in the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of crops. You will work closely with our farm supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient farm operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops following established farming practices and guidelines.
2. Prepare fields for planting, including plowing, fertilizing, and cultivating the soil.
3. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, seeders, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
4. Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures as instructed.
5. Assist with irrigation activities, including setting up and adjusting irrigation systems.
6. Perform manual labor tasks such as planting seeds, transplanting seedlings, weeding, and thinning crops.
7. Harvest crops by hand or using machinery, ensuring proper handling and storage.
8. Sort, grade, and package harvested crops for storage or shipment.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings, equipment, and work areas.
10. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
11. Assist with general farm maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
12. Provide support during livestock care and feeding operations, if required.
13. Cooperate with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in farm work or a related field is preferred but not required.
2. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
3. Basic knowledge of farming practices, tools, and machinery is an asset.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy.
