Job Summary: As a General Farm Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our farm, which may include crop planting, cultivating, harvesting, and livestock care. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the farm, contributing to the production of high-quality agricultural products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planting and cultivating crops: Assist with the preparation of fields, planting seeds, applying fertilizers, and maintaining irrigation systems.
2. Harvesting: Participate in the harvesting process, including picking fruits or vegetables, operating machinery, and sorting and packing produce.
3. Livestock care: Assist in feeding, watering, and general care of livestock, including monitoring their health and well-being.
4. Equipment operation: Safely operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
5. General farm maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing fences, maintaining buildings, and cleaning equipment and work areas.
6. Crop monitoring: Monitor crops for signs of disease, pests, or other issues and report any concerns to the farm manager.
7. Compliance with safety and regulatory standards: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, and follow applicable regulations and guidelines.
8. Team collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of farming practices and equipment operation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the location of the farm.
