Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team in Canada. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our guests’ rooms, providing them with a comfortable and pleasant environment during their stay.

Table of Contents


  1. Clean and maintain guest rooms: Perform thorough cleaning of assigned guest rooms according to established standards and procedures. This includes making beds, vacuuming, dusting, polishing furniture, and ensuring all amenities are replenished.
  2. Follow safety and hygiene protocols: Adhere to all safety and health guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with care, ensuring proper storage and usage.
  3. Respond to guest requests: Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness and comfort of their rooms. Provide extra amenities or services as requested within the scope of your role.
  4. Report maintenance issues: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department, ensuring quick resolution to maintain guest satisfaction.
  5. Collaborate with the housekeeping team: Work closely with fellow housekeeping staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient room turnover, timely completion of tasks, and overall cleanliness of the property.
  6. Uphold quality standards: Ensure that the established quality standards for cleanliness and appearance are consistently met. Strive for excellence in all aspects of the job to exceed guest expectations.
  7. Maintain inventory: Keep track of linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities inventory levels, reporting any shortages or needs to the housekeeping supervisor. Assist with inventory control to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.


  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and bending.
  • Familiarity with safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
