Cheese Factory Worker

Position Summary: We seek dedicated individuals to join our team as Cheese Factory Workers at our renowned cheese production facility in Canada. As a Cheese Factory Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain cheese production equipment, including cheese vats, curd cutters, presses, and packaging machines.
2. Follow standardized procedures and recipes to produce various types of cheese, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
3. Monitor and control cheese-making, including curd formation, cutting, cooking, draining, and pressing.
4. Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure cheese products meet specified taste, texture, and appearance criteria.
5. Perform sanitation and cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic work environment, including equipment cleaning, sanitization, and proper disposal of waste.
6. Assist with packaging and labeling finished cheese products, ensuring accurate weights and appropriate packaging materials.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow within the cheese production facility.
8. Comply with health and safety regulations and always adhere to company policies and procedures.
9. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors immediately.
10. Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of cheese production techniques and industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent education.
2. Prior experience in a food production or manufacturing environment, preferably in cheese or dairy production, is an asset.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and recipes.
4. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
6. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
7. Ability to adapt to changing production schedules and prioritize tasks accordingly.
8. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
9. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
10. Valid food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one).
